Pumpkin Patch

I went to the Pumpkin Patch with Ethan's class last week. It was supposed to rain but the weather turned out to be gorgeous! Unfortunately, it had rained the day before so it was MUDDY. Ethan had to pick his pumpkin quick. If we stood in one place too long we began to sink. His favorite part was the hay maze. He ran through it about ten times. It was nice to spend time with just Ethan. He rarely gets any one on one time because I always have the baby. Ethan is such a precious little boy. I love you sweet boy!!

Playing At The Park

We met my good friend Lisa and her daughter, Anna Katherine, for lunch Friday and took the kids to the park. They had so much fun. Ava thinks she is as big as the rest of the kids. I told Davis I have found Ethan's future wife. I just have to convince Ethan and Anna Katherine of that!!

Student Of The Week

Little Miss Olivia was chosen as student of the week for her class this past week. She brought home a poster that she had to fill out and color. It was all about her. She had to list three interesting facts about herself.

1. I can count to 10 in Spanish and Chinese

2. I can ride my bike without training wheels

3. I am a good t-ball player

She is a very special little girl and we are so bless to have her in our family. Congratulations Olivia!!

Boosterthon Fun Run

Peyton's school participated in a fun run fundraiser. He had to get folks to sponser him based on how many laps he ran. Davis, Ava, & I went up to watch them run. It was a much bigger production than we thought it would be. The kids had a great time but it was HOT!! I bet the entire school stank by the end of the day. Ava loved watching all of the kids run.

Autumn Moon Festival

We had our Autumn Moon Festival with our China group this weekend. The kids a had great time playing at the park. Ethan and Ava had races down the slide. They also decorated "moon cakes". Ava enjoyed hers very much.

Family Reunion

We went to TN over the Labor day weekend. We went to my Uncle John & Aunt Susan's house. My Uncle Bob & Aunt Judy came down from Virginia. Bob and Susan are my dad's brother & sister. We haven't seen them since my grandmother passed away five years ago. My brother and his family came over from Nashville too. This was the first time Bob & Judy met Olivia, Ethan, & Ava and the first time for John & Susan to meet Ethan & Ava. We had a great time catching up. Ava made herself right at home. She even decided to eat out of the garbage!! Don't worry it was lasagna that had just been thrown away from dinner. We also went up and spent one night in Pigeon Forge and took the kids to the aquarium.
