We heard some very sad news this week. It seems that the Rhinovirus is going around Ava's orphanage in Vietnam. They have had 9 babies die over the past few weeks. Most of them had already been referred to families. Please pray that this virus has run it's course and no more babies will be lost. Also pray for the families who lost the children they had already begun to love as their own. I am so very thankful to God that we were able to get Ava home before winter began.

Christmas at Papaw and Mamaw's House

The kids had a great time at Davis' parents house Christmas morning. With our four kids and Douglas' four kids it was quite a scene. Ava handled all of the excitment like a champ. Every we year instead of just reading the Christmas story from the Bible we act it out. The kids love doing it. This year Peyton was Joseph, Ethan was a wise man, Olivia was an angel, and Ava played the part of baby Jesus.

New Look for Chinese New Year
I updated the look of my blog for Chinese New Year and Vietnamese Tet. It's not exactly what I wanted but it's OK. Chinese New Year/Tet is Feb. 7. I promise I will update with new pictures soon.

Christmas Morning
We had a great time Christmas morning. The kids were up at 7 a.m. We had to wake Ava up at 8. They were so excited about their presents. Ava was excited about he paper and boxes!! Peyton was extra sweet that morning. He let the little kids open their gifts first and got excited with them about was they received. The green-eyed monster never showed up with Peyton. We were so proud of him. He growing up so fast.

Christmas With Granddaddy
My dad came over Christmas Eve to celebrate Christmas with us. Ava let him hold her without a fuss. We told him he should feel honored. She doesn't let just anyone hold her. The kids loved their Christmas gifts and spending time with their Granddaddy!
