My brother, Robert, and his wife, Stephanie, had a beautiful baby boy on Dec. 20. He was born almost four weeks early and has Down syndrome. I went up to visit them earlier this month. They are all doing great! He is absolutely GORGEOUS!! He is very smart because he already loves his Aunt Leigh! His big sister Madelynne is doing a great job also. She loves her baby Dylan very much. I know that God has wonderful plans for our little Dylan. I can't wait to watch him grow up.

Christmas at Papaw and Mamaw's House

I know everyone has been waiting on pins and needles for me to update this blog, right? Make sure and scroll down because I've added lots of updates. We spent Christmas afternoon at Davis' parents' house. We had a great meal and the kids enjoyed opening presents- again. My favorite part of the day is when the kids act out the Christmas story. Peyton and Ethan were wise men and Olivia and Ava were angels this year. It's always fun to watch them do this every year.

Christmas Morning

We had a great time Christmas morning. The kids got way too much and it's all my fault. I always set a limit but never stick to it. After they saw their Santa gifts and opened our gifts under the tree we had them look under the other two trees. One gift told them to "Hop on over to Papaw's garage". Davis had put their trampoline together and hid it in the garage. The other tree had a new Wii and games for each one. Davis bought me an iPod touch and I LOVE it.

Christmas Eve

We have started celebrating Christmas with my daddy and sister ( and my brother before he moved out of state) on Christmas Eve. They came over for dinner and then we opened presents. My kids LOVED everything they received. It's always great to spend time with daddy and Teesha. We don't get to see them as often as we would like to.

Christmas at Papa and Grandma's House

We celebrated Christmas at my parent's house, sort of. My brother called just before we started eating and said that his wife was going into labor. They live in Nashville. We ate really fast and opened presents even faster so that they could leave. My brother Tony and his family stayed and we cleaned up the house and visited for a while.

Mouse in the House!!

We had a little visitor one afternoon here at the Wilson house. I was in my bathroom when I heard a lot of commotion and Davis and all of the kids come bursting into the bathroom. They were chasing a mouse! They chased it into my closet and all I could hear was a lot of banging a screaming. He ran out and I threw a towel over him. Well Peyton decides to look under the towel. The mouse ran out an into one of Davis' shoes. They returned the little thing outside. I doubt he'll revisit us anytime soon.

Cookie Swap

In mid December I hosted a cookie swap at my house for our China group. A friend of mine used to do this and it was always so much fun. Mine was for the mom's and kids. I had everyone bring 3 dozen cookies (no store bought) and bring an empty container. We all go around and pick a cookie from each batch until they are all gone. When you leave you have 3 dozen assorted cookies. I also had the kids draw a number and go up to the sleigh and choose a package. Each package contained an ornament. I think everyone had a good time. I'm going to make it an annual event.

Christmas Card Photo Shoot

We had our "photo shoot" for our Christmas cards Sunday after church. It's so much fun trying to get all four kids to look at the camera and smile at the same time. Olivia and Ethan are in that strange fake smile stage. Here are some of my favorites. Be sure and scroll down. I have posted lots of updates. It's hard to find the time these days!
