I've done pretty good the past few days with the wait for travel but that ends today. At the time we were logged in the wait for referral was 2-4 months. Most people waited less than 4 months. Some families only waited 2 months. We waited 4 months. Our agency's website says the wait between referral and travel is 3-4 months. Most people have only been waiting 4-6 weeks. Some families even traveled in 3 weeks. So far we have waited 5 1/2 weeks. I'm sure we will end up having to wait the full 4 months until travel. Did I mention that we also have the oldest baby. At this rate she will be driving when we get her!! I'm going to go sing the blues some more.

Leigh, I am so sorry, I know this must be just agonizing for you all! Our baby boy is at the same orphanage and we are waiting for TA too! However, certainly NOT as long as you! I keep checking your blog as I keep thinking, surely, you all will be next! I, too, am on edge for you all wanting you to travel next! Surely, it must happen any day/hour! I'm having a hard enough time waiting for referral. If what everyone says is true, and the wait from referral to travel is harder, how will I ever survive??? Hang in there. Your precious little girl will be in your arms soon and all this waiting will be a distant memory! I'll be praying for your family. All in God's perfect timing. Unfortunately His timing differs from ours, but know that His plan is perfect.
